The cell was Ken's Kuturagi's vision.. Not Kaz or Sony's as a whole. You have to understand when the shift in managment came, so did a shift in the development of their hardware and software. We can't look at cell and see no yeilds right now, cause it's only a year old to the consumer market. When price drops I'm sure Toshiba will be more than happy to sustain its life and in turn, maybe Sony will buy the new cell chips from Toshiba. You're looking at 1 side of the coin here.

Great news for Sony, that's for sure. Ratchet & Clank has sold nearly 150,000 units in under 2 weeks of it's "offical" release. That makes it the 2nd fastest selling game for the system. Japan is going to lap it up this week too. It'll go on to sell a million for sure.
I hope more people buy into Warhawk than they already have too. I want that game to be hugely successful cause Sony needs stuff like that.

The PS3 sold 20,000 units yesterday in Japan... I somehow feel this is going to be a good week for Sony. I say 60,000 ps3's sold this week. I think Japan's PS3 sales will be looking alright come the end of the year.

I haven't been able to step online with the ps3 version either. I don't really care, though. Warhawk and Resistance are better anyways. I loved COD4, but I'm not crying over the online aspects at all. I will probably not be playing thru it again or even touching it. I'm probably going to give it away on my blogsite like I usually do to games I've beat that are 3rd party.
Does it get any more absurd? I've played it, beat it and reviewed it... It's a good game, but it's not revolutionary and it's not perfection or above it. I gave it an 8 out of 10 and that was being generous. It offered up nothing knew to people who've been playing mario since he 1st stepped into 3-d space.
As I stated in my blog review... You control mario like you have for over 10 years now. With an analog stick. That's not really revolutionary to me.

It is hands down the best next gen experience so far. Easily. This is, as I said in my blog, not a game.. it's an experience. Gears of War was a game. R&C wasa game... Uncharted is an experience. It isn't any 1 thing that makes it spectacular... it's everything brought together. The acting, the scripting, the graphics, the gameplay... the setting. The tone. Everything is just spot on for the 1st time here.
The only other time I thought or felt this way was back in 1997...
