Uncharted should be enjoyed by every gamer... their isn't a need to be console bias here. Uncharted is an experience you should take in if you are in fact a gamer. Simple as that. The most amazing game ever!
Never in a million years would I buy another system over the Ps3. It's the tops man. It's a set top box and does too many fucntions for me to not have to have it. Blu-ray, multi media picture and file swapping/editing... Gaming... Online... Emulators... Web browser... I can go on and on and on. The Ps3 is everything in one for 1 cost and not many multiple add on cost. It's everything for the price of 400 bucks. Simple as that.
You obviously haven't played it... It's not as linear as you might be lead to believe. Trust me... Also, Gears of War was heavily path ridden. So is Halo... DMC games... What's you or their point? This isn't an open ended adventure it plays like it reads... A book and movie. Simple as that. It's a cinematic master piece if you ask me.
My final note on this subject is this... These dev's are giving you something new. An alternative.. they're giving you a choice of basic been there and done it and seen it all gameplay or ... their take on next gen. Uncharted is new... it's awesome. People who miss out on it are only holding themselves back and the industry... That's what kills me about idiot gamers... sony has gave us new IPs and tried somehting different at every turn and people are just passing on them. Uncharted did pretty damn good for it's 1st "TRUE" week on the charts. I love how they say it was released 2 weeks ago... funny ass bias media. Gamestop doesn't account for the bulk of the world. Then again, it was on the 17th we started selling the game... Man, if you go into Lair wanting and expecting something different... the game is amazing! Look, sure it's not the must have game... and if you're going to only buy 1 to 3 games this year.. Yeah, don't get Lair. However, if you're going to buy 2 other games and Lair... Do it! simple as that. It offers up an experience you cannot get anywhere else. The graphics are amazing, the controls are different but they're effective... Give it a try, man.
