yeah, I love the (IDEA) of downloaded media myself... but I'm also in the 2% population that does think this way. 98% of the world likes owning something tangible. I'd say not even 70% of the world is online... How do you get these (downloaded hd movies) into their hands? How do you get it into my hands at a faster rate than I can go to the store and buy it? This doesn't look any better "graphically" than the PS3's (1ST GEN) offering in sigma. Now, the animations do look amazing. That I grant you, but the rest of the picture and what I'm seeing here isn't really showing what the xbox 360 has left under the hood after 3 years on the market, almost 4 by the time this game hits.
Sorry.... xbox 360 is looking very dated when stacked next to the Ps3 as the days pass.

the worse part... Wii is getting 4 and 5 year old ps2 games and people act like they're happy about it. Okami, Resident Evil 4 (both ps2 and gc) and now talk of MGs2 and MGs3 and MGtS coming to the wii, aswell.
This is garbage, man. Why didn't Nintendo just release the wii last generation? Anyone content with a wii only is in serious denial about the other side of the fence and it's lush green grass.
I game when there is absolutely nothing else to do. That's it. If I'm stuck at home and there is simply no other option, but to game. I'll game. Never more than 2 hours, maybe 3 though.
I never rush to beat any games I buy, either. I'll buy them, shelve them and save them for a rainy day. Sometimes that rainy day never comes, though.
So, in closing, this article is garbage. Not every 20 to 30 year old who games is obsessive about it.

Sony's doing very well in Japan and Europe all of a sudden. At this rate, they'll be out gunning the xbox 360 in every major territory "save" the u.s. and I'm sure that trend will catch on here too.

My main "most wanted" feature within Home is to actually set up all of our store bought (PSN games and PS1 games and so forth and so on) in Coin Op cabinets inside our home or something like in the lounge maybe.
It'd be awesome to just walk up to the game in question and play directly inside home. for instance, placing High Velocity Bowling inside a custom arcade cabinet and playing it directly from inside home.

I'm not reading all these post... I'm officially stating this now, though. GTA4 will have differences on the xbox 360 and ps3. I don't care what you or R* or Sony or MS have to say about it, either. Color, lighting, texture detail, clarity... all these things will be different for both versions. More so, for each individual who owns the game and the systems to play it on. As no 2 tv's are going to be calibrated with the proper gear.

So far I can stack all the amazing "original" PSN games against the $HIT TON of been there done it classics on xbox live "which I own all of thru emulation anyways" and can clearly see the PS3 has the strongest games on their network.
