just isn't looking good... To add to this, the story sounds appauling at best. If I could open the doors of hell, I wouldn't. And if I did, I wouldn't go thru them... Lara has gotten so absurd it's not even applicable. The graphics are leaving a bad taste in my mouth too.
The thing that gets me is this... When we have slow weeks like this, why the hell can't Sony just start tossing up Ps1 games? start building the library of available content while they can. I know I'd buy a game a week (if they were good ones) maybe even more. It's just not making any sense why they don't give us something more during these slow peaks.

Of course it did... And a bigger shock, it's going to outsell it in 08, 09 and 10 too. The only reason the xbox 360 is where it is right now is because of their giant (uncontested) year head start. We've seen the ps3 gaining ground monthly since its release and by summer the gap will even be smaller.

I never got into them... I tried playing the 1st one. It didn't hold my interest. Then again, Resident Evil, Silent hill and Alone in the Dark have grossly lost my interest too.
I loved Silent Hill 1 and 2 (beat them both many times) got 3 and 4 and both are sitting on my shelf still. Played them for maybe 30 min each.

Of course the xbox 360 did so well its 1st year... they had no "next-gen" competition. Now that Sony's finally here we see things already shifting. The ps3 isn't even a year old in europe yet, either. That's scary to think in less than a year it's almost sitting where the xbox 360 is in 2 years.
The ps3 is at 9.5 already, Sony did this to make it look like they're breaking their expectations when march rolls around and they're sitting well over 10 million. Sony's as crafty as ever.
People "average gamers/consumers" will see the numbers and say (wow, they exceeded their expectations) when they have not 1 clue that in order to beat them they had to drop them.

60 cars, to me, is too many... Why not just have like 20 really good cars? That's all I'm asking for. Cars I'd actually use. I see all these racing games with 80 and 100 + cars and I only ever use like 10 of them at the most. I find my car and stick with it. Diversity is key, but when so many of your cars are absurdly bad who's going to care?

This is the game people want to love just because it's different. Case and point... Killer 7, God hand, Okami, Vietiful Joe... All 4 of those games are so absurd and unappealing that people wanted to like them to be trendy or cutting edge. This game, made by some of the same dev's of those games, is no different.
