If at this point you dont know whats going on lol your oblivious. You should have asked Microsoft what was going on last gen when Sony went ahead and added PC players to cross play and Microsoft didnt even want to do that lol. All these companies are playing chess and since Microsft is getting thrashed they want to include everyhting, including th ekitchen sink lol but last gen when they were doing fine selling hardware they wouldnt budge lol.

Small teams tend to put alot of love in games as they have yet to be tainted by the avarice publishers, set release dates forced on devs and greedy shortcuts. It is often a personal journey for them made with passion. Journey was another game by a small team tht i enjoyed.
Funny thing is i was holding off to get this at a bargain been but early impressions already got me to pre order today. I look forward to the journey.

For the most part by PS4 is silent and i sit only afew inches away from it. On occasion depending on the game or for whatever reason the engines rev up lol but thats very rare. Imo it is a very efficient and great console and quiet most of the time.
so it cant be ps fans or just gamers liking and appreciating the hardware engineering and the fact that out the gate the hardware was already smaller than the competition and didnt have an outside power brick lol Yeah i get it.

It has other investments in movies, insurance and other things that make revenue. I get your point but its a catch 22 and also has a positive side. The positive is that in no way will Sony let playstation fall and its backing its horse to the death which is great for consumers.
