Do the vast majority not know that the color scheme, the cute art style and the so called smoothness is all due to developers creating games that arent technically advanced and arent graphically intensive? They lend themselves to these art styles generally because it allows them to create their games on a vastly weaker console. Look at over 90% of Nintendo games and what do you see? Colors that pop, cute art style, etc..... It is way harder to produce...
Funny enough i have a day one ps4 and NMS hasnt crashed on me once. Out of curiosity at what specific point does the game crash for you or its just random crashes that happen at any part of the game?
Ahhh even though i enjoyed the Bioshock games they didnt grab me like other games did (especially the last one) and i really dont see the replay value so i wont be purchasing. Mind you the only remasters i have bought are TLOU which imo was well worth it and Gravity Rush (i skipped on GOW 3 for the same reason). For ppl that havent played these games i can definitely see them being appealing.
Its innovating and moving procedurally generated worlds forward because no games from my recollection have done it to the extent and magnitude this game has done it and pulled it off. You have games like bloodborne who have done it well with the chalice dungeons but this is doing it for an infinite universe. Doesnt matter if procedurally generated worlds have done it before but have they been done to this extent and worked? Honest question.

Idk why but i treat big console updates like a game release and spend a good amount of time playing around with it lol I am really excited for this one. I remember when communities first came in the other update and i made like 10 of them lol and was really psyched. A few of them were very beneficial especially the Bloodbourne one where i always teamed up with ppl to beat bosses.

Right on!!!! Nintendo are good developers, no one can take that away from them but they need to use their expertise on new ips and get us engulfed once again. I miss those Super Nintendo days or games on the N64 that just wowed us and had me like "yeah this is what im talking about!!"

Man my son and gf watches me play it all the time lol They love to see all the new things i discover. I was so pissed when i got to a planet that was like 80% water and toxic rain because they steered me there and there was %hit! lol but its all part of the game. I am now on a planet with tons of caves and its really cool. Just getting material, buying and selling for my hyper drive fuel.
So that hype must be very strong because since launch I have been playing it for hours everyday, plan on playing it for hours in the long run and am thoroughly enjoying it. Why that hype even has me thinking the game is good /s

Old and New. Its ok to have good quality sequels but it isnt ok to just rely on sequel after sequel. Splatoon was a start but we need a good stream of new and innovative ips. Quality is good but if you dont have new and different software constantly coming out which is good quality then you lost me and countless millions who wont buy. Price of course is a factor but Nintendo wont have a price issue.
Im happy it is and have been enjoying it immensely. I want to clarify something. The people that have been criticizing the game have valid points, however imo the positives outweigh the negatives. It is a different and innovative experience and i commend Sony for bringing these experiences to their console instead of just regurgitated stale ips over and over again which is a big knock i have over the other console companies. Awwwww man this update sounds really great and probably checks off alot of what the gamers have been wanting for awhile. Folders for me is awesome as well as the search feature.
