1)- first its 250-299$,and its dirt cheap compared to Vita capabilities( already forgot E3 reaction to this Price )
2)- you're talking like Sony chose to miss the holiday season, and you forgot the massive earthquake that destroyed part of their factories, also they're not making hot dogs, they're making a high tech hardware device.
3)- Kinda agree with you that 14 million is a lot, but don't underestimate Vita's demand, Japan will eat it ...

Why are you trying hard to downplay GT5 sales figures ? do you want me to believe VGchartz over PD OFFICIAL numbers ?
PD reported that as of DEC 2010 GT5 SOLD 6.39 million copies.

PS3 $50 price drop is doing wonders to Sony. Imagine if Sony dropped PS3 price to $199, that would be a fatality.
also notice PS2 increase, it would be funny if it managed to outsell any of current gen consoles at one point.
