Did you mistake this for another graphics comparison?
This is a sound comparison which doesn't do a whole lot of good without knowing what the real thing sounds like which is why in my other post I gave links to videos with sound for the real R8 so you can compare it to something.
Sound wise I think they are pretty similar other than forza 3 having a bit lower more powerful sound which is probably more realistic. In terms of sound here's a little lesson. The larger the engine, the lower the pitch of the sound(usually). This is because even though it's powerful because of its size it doesn't have as many RPM(revolutions per minute) as say a small 4 cylinder car. That is why your Honda S2000 redlines at 10,000rpms and sounds pretty high pitch

That if your PS3 breaks or something then your account is still on it via the "mac address" sort of idea. Each playstation 3 has a specific hardware number that when you register your account it's based on that number. When your PS3 breaks you essentially lose one of your accounts.
This happened to my friend. Instead of sharing with 4 friends he can only share with 3 because his broken PS3 is holding one account "hostage" basically.

I wonder if these bios are taken from the game, or if they are unlocked in the game, or if they are made up from what you learn in the game. Either way, I am kind of on a media blackout for Uncharted 2 considering it comes out in just 2 weeks.

Those are just low res shots. I have seen some higher res screens from like IGN and such and the game looks absolutely gorgeous.
@ Above, if you haven't played the first two simply fork up some money and get the GOW collection pack. I already have mine preordered even though I have the first two. I am fine with PD pushing back GT5 to fix the "damage" on one condition. They give an update or 2 to prologue during our long wait. Not necessarily damage, maybe a few more tracks, some more cars, maybe even a set of license test to see what it's going to be like for GT5. Give us some more to keep us busy while we wait. I don't know about you but I have pretty much beaten all the prologue races.
If you are going to say burnout has better damage (which I agree that Burnout Paradise probably has the best damage to date or at least close to Dirt 2 damage, both are well done) then post a link showing proof.

I mean yes $60 a pop is unfortunate but afterall these developers have to make a profit. Say it cost $60,000,000 to produce the game. At $60 per sold game they would have to sell 1,000,000 copies to break even. Maybe that puts it into perspective for you.
Not to mention, $60M for a game isn't unheard of. Check out this from an older article back in 2007. Clearly since then, especially with the economy game production costs have gone up and games have gotten bigger and longer.

Apparently there is an ACTUAL live action tribute to the Ferrari. It looks a lot like the GT5 video in terms of the camera capture and movements. Look at that bottom of this source.

It was a very good read and has a lot of truth in it. I for one play some older games like Counter Strike and Counter Strike: Source as well as I used to be an avid player of Soldier of Fortune 2. Forza 3 had hands on demos at E3 and Gamescom. I would expect them to have a big showing of Forza, maybe their updated damage model as well as some new cars and tracks and features. Microsoft may not be having a press conference but that doesn't mean they are rolling over playing dead. They have the money and the brains in marketing to always come up with something that excites everyone.
My bad...I didn't look all that closely. If you watch the video the FM3 has the V10 whereas the NFS has the V8...nice eye.
