OR/AS was from November 2014?
Not quite. While Z is inevitable, I wanted to reason that the series just needed more time to get on the rails again and create an innovative main series title, that's all. Given the release of a ton of games like Pokken, Pokemon Go, that Detective Pikachu game, maybe the main series can take a back seat, so that when a new main series game comes out, fans will MISS, will yearn for it. I just feel like the series has fallen a tad short, that's all.
Hi Cath,
I'm the owner of Gamer Professionals and wanted to thank you for taking the time to interview with us!
The video we have in question strictly says it's for Wii U.
It might actually be a Spring release. In the video we have, there's subtle cues to a lot of sunshine, and a sign on the door that says "Happy Spring!" which I believe is not a coincidence.
It's definitely for a Wii U title.
From the email I received about the launch the discount will only be here for up until New Years. ;) Probably not for a long long time.
EDIT: Straight from them: However, since it's the holidays, we're also throwing in a launch discount as a Christmas present to the marvellous Nintendo 3DS community. From launch until December 31, the price will be $16.99 / €16.99 / £11.99. We don't expect to discount the game for a very long while after that. Yes, really.
It's vastly different from Dig but the risk paid off big time. :)
By far and probably is the best 3DS title of 2015. Hands down, essential recommendation for the 3DS.
That's the biggest problem, really. With how games go nowadays, like Battlefront, this is what we're gonna have to expect, and it's the worst news we could ask for at present.
While we don't know the actual price of anything, it's not looking too bright either. :/
Besides the lowering in quality of FF titles in recent years, they haven't done anything that's stuck the on the radar quite as much as this has. :/
I've actually done a bit of searching myself, and what people found was that according to Takahashi Mochizuki Takahashi Mochizuki of the Wall Street Journal - he has stated on Twitter, "Square Enix says FF7 Remake's data size [is] so huge, the software will be split into several titles (for example, FF7-Remake 1, FF7-Remake 2). ... while [the] basic story scenario will remain same, there will be some new scene additions to FFVII Remake." (1, 2). So while it's understanda...
Never understood the whole graphics argument thing... Seems like a minor nitpick in the grand scheme of things.
Yeah... I just don't see the logic of it either... Seems like a really dumb mistake.
I've definitely heard that and once I finish my queue I'll give it a look myself.
I wonder what Nintendo intends to add in terms of extras for this remake. Extra dungeons please? And more things with the spinner top please!
Happy Holidays!
Merry Christmas N4G!
Happy New Year too!
Just even off of reading this and other reviews that got released, there's a ton of stuff that is in this game, and for what it's giving at its current price point, this looks like Nintendo's flagship this holiday.
Who would have guessed that there's this much history in the Xenoblade franchise? That, and there's this corporation idea too. I kinda like that a lot.
@Kaleb: oh, I see. That kinda makes sense from where you're coming from; sorry for the misunderstanding. Just had a slightly different view on remakes being part of the main series.
