I already prordered AC3, Xcom, and bioshock infinite. I think dishonored and fifa 13 are also must haves. Cod has me exhausted and that's pretty much it since I'm a pc gamer
I just can't break the association of Nintendo products and kids. If a gamer could only choose one console (720, 4, U) I doubt anyone in the right mind would pick the wii U.
Look at all these PES fanboys. It's the same thing with CoD. I get it! It's cool to hate the top game. *sigh* Fifa is better in my opinion. The mini games on loading screens are cool and I'm liking the new first touch system as well as the upgraded impact engine. Not completely revolutionary but definitely keeps the game fresh. That and its awesome music.

Honestly I do both. When I'm bored and out and about I play on the ipad. When I'm home I play on my computer and I agree that they deserve their own spot. However, I think that gaming needs to change in definition because both methods are insanely different.
Because windows 8 unites phones, tablets, and pcs. Although it wouldn't benefit me since I have then new iPad, galaxy s3, and a custom build pc, I believe that a gamer with all 3 devices shouldn't be afaird of getting it. A store makes the system closed? I installed steam just fine and was gaming perfectly under windows 8. It's not like it forces you to use the store.
Gabe is afraid of competing with MS in the field of distribution. Valve fears that windows store will try to replace steam. Windows 8 works just as well as 7 from my experience.
Newegg lets me preorder the game and it claims that the game is coming out on the 31st of December.

I liked dead island. It was gorgeous and fun; especially with all 4 players. I'm still playing it. Definitely better than what dead rising offered.
