This is the way I think of it. Making a mass effect movie (or any video game movie) would be going backwards as video games are the newest and most advanced form of entertainment.
Sure, some movie adaptations of books work well, but could you imagine a movie turned into a book? It just wouldn't turn out well.

OoT and windwaker are some of my favorite games ever, but... MM is just messy imo, if it wasn't for the darker theme people would probably hate it.

Well... that pretty much ruins the entire purpose of onlive.
So... microsoft would be onlive, meaning that it would be exclusive to microsoft products, yet the whole meaning behind "Gaming on demand" means that it can be played on almost any device.
