the FFVIII demo had an M rating, and it was included as a bonus to an E rated game.
If you're going to complain about it's perspective at least know WHY they choose for it to be first person.
Metroid Prime was originally going to be 3rd person, until retro realized that metroid is more about exploration and puzzle solving rather than action, which is way more intuitive in a first person view point.

Yeah, that and the linear gameplay (which is an insult since metroid was a pioneer in non-linear gameplay), god awful controls, and sub-par graphics.
I agree with Yoshio when he said that developers should limit what they have to allow for more creativity. But when it takes away something as simple as the freedom shooting your gun the way you want to, then that's an exception.

Ugh... loved the original game, but why are the new graphics so over-filtered? are the dark borders really all that necessary?
Yeah but... the metroid games are way darker in atmosphere than star fox, as well as a lot more adventurous... plus... it doesn't have a cast of animals.
star fox is a great ARCADE shooter type game, but it's nothing I would ever take that seriously.

They might make another Metroid, but it wouldn't be in the prime storyline.
In prime 3, planet phaaze 'sploded. and dark samus died... how do you expect to continue that plot?
