My friend is really hyped for this game but really couldn't get into SOM if they added that system he will be pretty bummed out. It was a good system but not everybody liked it. It has its place in SOM and it should stay there and even be improved upon for the sequel.

Agreed i'm not saying this game won't be good but why call it overlord?? It has jack all to do with previous games you don't control minions which was the whole point and why you was called overlord. This is called using an IP to sell what looks like an indie game. Codemasters have fallen so much over the years.. But the rub is where does it stop? If only a few flagged mods made the cut that are worth the money it would be fine but this is STEAM effectively killing whats great about PCs free mods for our games they are turning them into DLC. Not to mention how devs are gonna react to this as they will no doubt want a cut. Releasing for free is one thing as nobody gets hurt in fact it boosts sales it's when you start making money from somebody elses game THATs what the issue is.

He's right a lot of mods on games are based on ips like cloud strife mod and looking like other characters from other games. The devs don't mind this if its a free mod but once your try to charge for somebody elses intellectual property all hell will break loose.
They are selling like crazy however we don't know if the popularity is as high as we see nintendo is purposely shorting the market like they did with the wii to make it look like demand is high I mean otherwise there would be a steady flow of those Marth figures we shouldnt have to wait for a nintendo direct for them to say theres another batch of like 10k coming in 3 months.
Hes right the things not selling well at all its the 3ds and amiibo thats doing the sales. Sure WiiU makes a little profit but unless you get some serious consoles out there fast enough the cost to make games soon enough outweighs the profits from those games and that little bit from the console sales wont make up for that. It's selling worse than the gamecube in terms of sales right now and they abandoned that after 6 years saying that games stopped after 4.

it was never under rated lets get that straight. It just wasn't well known that's the main thing. Critics loved it as did gamers who played it. Using underrated is wrong as it wasn't it just didnt sell as well as remedy thought thanks to remedy not having a mass advertising budget and not being hyped at all not many got to play it.
Indeed thinking the keys to high sales is putting it on whatever system has sold the most rather than where your target audience is. Really stupid as nobody wants to really play monster hunter on the move. Don't get me wrong there is an audience for it, Just there's that much action going on its hard to keep up on the 3ds screen.

nothing new for Sony?? It really is buying exclusive rights to ads last generation there marketing was terrible. They may have shown ads on behalf of 3rd partys to show off there consoles saying the games on playstation that was definitely there but they never did an exclusive advertising deal. This is all because of the new marketing team they hired just before the ps4 launch who have clearly worked wonders for Sony.

This isn't really Sony either its the marketing company they have hired who has made these deals. I also don't really get them that much.. People know the games gonna be on xbox too so whats they point? It's not exclusive so its not going to get enough sales to justify the cost of exclusive advertising in my book..

It cant be purely because Batman is so good because of its open world. Daredevil wouldn't suit open world. He has no quick way of getting around and has no way near the following to demand a big budget to make a game like Batman Arkham Knight.
8.5 is respectable scores. But why should you cares if scores are low or not? Will it justify your purchase? Will you not buy it because some site scored it low?? I base my buys on gameplay videos and playthroughs as a review and scores are a persons own opinion on a game.
Its worse because they have dropped the console price and its still selling around the same before the price drop. In fact they have had 2 price drops and neither has really improved sales.
They need to look at somewhere else for income if they are that bothered with beating ps4 and not content with being 360 which they are doing already,
