Yeah idk admiral shake BF3 converted me from COD and i didnt think that was possible, now when i play COD it feels like a little kids game. The gun sounds in MW3 sound so fake, i feel like i'm playing a game of paintball pew pew pew lol.

I wish MS would offer open online play instead of pay-to-play, if they really wanted to they could and just lock out a lot of premium features like chat, demos, friends list, etc.
Hard to say right now but from I've seen it looks like its just going to be another COD wannabe with BF3 graphics.
My money is on Halo 4 and screw COD its the same bs every time.
I will buy Halo 4 and play Blackops 1 if i'm in the mood for COD since it will just be the same thing.

There would be no reason me to stick with Sony if this happens.
Hardcore to me means you play every type of game without hesitation. It means you play games for the love of it and not because its the popular thing to do. Also a hardcore gamer has at least has played and beaten more than 30 games in his/her lifetime.

Well the thing is Sony and MS haven't denied that these rumors were false either. There's definitely something going on in background, maybe they are in talks with EA, Activision, and other publishers trying to figure this out without pissing off retailer's and gamers.
If they do this there needs to be some kind of compromise for the consumer like lowering game prices, because i just don't see people shelling out $70+ for some thing that instantly loses 100% of its value after being used. There needs to be some kind of new pricing system based on the games content and quality, not all games are the same and very few are actually worth the $60 price tag.

Crysis 2 all over again. When will devs learn that the COD crowd wont play anything else but COD, instead they should make a game catered to the fans because they are the ones that are ultimately going to go out and buy the game and tell all there friends about how bad ass it is resulting in more sales and hype.
