Its hated for a lot and mean lot of good reasons but least of all for it being popular.
Its not really that fast anymore, i found BF3 to be way more faster than MW3 and a lot more action packed. Besides the speed and movement being super sluggish the spawns are ridiculously awful and everybody just camps for kill streaks, i swear instead of the game being fun it feels like its made to piss you off.
Don't hate facebook just saying its the "cool thing" to do, personally the only time i log into facebook is to talk to some friends and family that live far away.
Like facebook Its the cool thing to be on regardless of how bad it is (MW3 proved that) that's why it will sell millions every year.
Call of Duty willing to do what? Battlefield, Halo, Hamoefront, Crysis, and hundreds of other FPS's have been there done that already. There's absolutely nothing new or fresh about BO2's new/old setting.
Not even in the same league.
Activision always says the same thing every year, "its going to be different" but its always the same bs.
Why would they spend money on improving COD when it will sell millions regardless.

I honestly love both the big and small maps of BF3 so this expansion should be a good one for some close quarters action, i'm so looking forward to armored kill as well.
