PC is better. Multiplayer, better visuals, better controls.
It's amazing what was accomplished in the console ports, but the PC is and always will be the definitive Crysis experience.
I've been itching for a good tower defense game. The revs have been good so far, I'll have to check it out.
@ pangitkqb
You said it, man. Pretty awesome this chika is rocking some hardcore games. Ow ow!
Stuart, that cracked me up. Way to go.
I haven't played yet, but everyone keeps telling me this game is awesome. Despite the delay, I'll have to give it a try.
Everybody is nerd-raging about this stupid article...and they keep clicking the link and posting comments. Duh?! If you are so nerd-raging against this, why is everyone making the story huge?
I can't stop chuckling over the irony. :D
Moderation is for losers! I like my beer cold, my games loud, enough food to sink a ship and booze and ladies as far as the eye can see!
Countless people are interested in all of these items. That's the problem. A guy like me would love to get the upcoming iPhone 5, a tablet, and PSV. The problem is simply $$ which is what the piece is talking about.
As the piece says: "If you were on a budget and could only afford one major mobile device upgrade for the next 18 months, would you upgrade to a slick new Smartphone, get a fancy tablet, purchase a 3DS, or wait for the PSV? There is no right answer; i...
@ Controversy and blackburn10
Damn you Controversy! You beat me to the "One Bubble" observation. Blackburn10 probably tells himself he gets one bubble because he "speaks the truth nobody wants to hear." Give me a break! that's what these trolls always tell themselves.
On Topic: I see the PSV tying PSP sales ultiamtely, but with more games and higher acclaim plus a more active community.
@ DarkCharizard
From your name I'm guessing you are a huge Msoft fan, right? (just a little sarcasm for ya, you wouldn't be biased at all, would you?) haha
Actually, i would argue that both the 3DS and PSV are at the mercy of iPhone 5 and next-gen android devices.
As the author points out: "Competition from Apple and Google devices has been strong enough that Nintendo lowered the price of the 3DS within six months of launch. Even...
What? You must be smoking something funny. ;)
Anyway, i hope the PSV sells out the proverbial wazoo!
I'm tempted but GT5 is coming and, just like the rev says, their are other great racing games out for $20 that may offer more.
Little help?
I love me a good superhero game. :)
The guy specifically talks about 2 points you assumed incorrectly:
1) He mentions early on that he is sharing an opinion he DOESN'T claim is universally correct.
2) He closes by saying how open he is to Xbox as a platform and isn't even opposed to renewing at a future date under that right circumstances.
Read...THEN comment.
The writer clearly states he IS A MICROSOFT FAN and that this isn't some vendetta against 360. IF YOU READ THE PIECE, rather than just blabbing without reading, you would understand that this isn't some guy trying to "Stick it to the man." That wasn't his intent at all. It's meant to be a BROADLY interpreted examination of the value of the average joe's dollar.
HE PLAINLY ADMITS there are great aspects of Xbox Live but that he is no longer PERSON...
I face palmed. Face palmed so hard I left a print on my head. Mr. Lookingbill can shut it.
Can't wait to try out the demo
Not traditionally an anime fan, now i'm interested.
It's still home to Sony and Nintendo. Together they represent billions upon billions of gaming dollars every year. Nintendo might as well print money at this point this gen. Think they are just gonna disappear? I don't. Japanese devs are simply in a slump. It's only a matter of time before they are re-invigorated and new ideas come their way. I freely admit that and I honestly prefer western devs in general.
@Jokesonyou
For those that prefer console but still have a gaming PC, you are absolutely right; there is no other option but console.
For those that are platform agnostic, I do recommend the PC version.
None of this detracts in any way, however, from the fact that Crysis is a great game and that Crytek has done an amazing job on all platforms with it.
