The inspiration is clear, but Myazaki's games have enough own stuff to offer. The gameplay is nearly as good as the aesthetics, everything is on a really high level, not perfect, but it comes very near to perfection. But then again, what is really perfect, is there even such thing? Congrats to FromSoftware for another high quality production.

I've watched countless of gameplay-videos in order to convince myself to pick up the game. I've never liked the human characters (especially Noctis and his friends), because they look like a bunch of stupid high school or university students which pose in their free-time for the most renowned beauty magazines. I've played the demo and didn't like it. Everything felt kind of forced. The game itself seems really predictable, the gameplay-mechanics are kind of linear and stale. The game couldn't live up to it's hype in my opinion.

I didn't say that Uncharted is a bad game or ND a bad dev, because I've played Uncharted 1, 2 & 3 and enjoyed parts of it very much (train scene in UC 2 was really enjoyable), but all in all I prefer the approach of FromSoftware.

Yes, it will outscore Bloodborne as far as Metascore goes, because the masses will hype it to heaven and beyond. Truth is, that Naughty Dog doesn't put the creativity FromSoftware puts in their games. FromSoftware remain the craziest and most creative devs in the industry.
