Lots of different gametypes. I was expecting just a kart style racer, but there are games like Pool, Foosball, Darts etc.
But mine is a 46" DLP

Ideas are stolen all the time though.
Apple stole the idea for a portable MP3 from Creative's Rio, for example, but the tech was a bit better and when they came out with the store it took off like a thunderbolt.
The only tech I've seen actually "stolen" by a non-pirate company was when Atari copied the '10NES' code and renamed it as 'Rabbit'
Mostly it's ideas stolen.
Have we evolved to the point that nobody eats dinner at a table or plays board games anymore?
Looking at a table never seemed to be an issue before.
Monopoly? Risk? Chicken Kiev?
Think of just the casual entertainment applications!
Store all of your board games in the Surface computer, and display close-ups of all the areas and pieces, (never lose a piece!) even play little animations or whatnot, and since the surface can read/scan and inte...
I particularly like the automatic kleenex ordering.
All it would have to do is come up with excuses to tell the mother in law when she came in and saw you, and it'd be the most amazing computer ever.
The developer of this iteration of the technology works for Microsoft now.
So in reality, the technology you see on Apple products is either different, or stolen from MS.
Even in that "Apple" video someone posted from Google Video, you can see Jeff Han's name in the corner.
And he states in this video-

So all of the idiots who said Microsoft is steali...
Absolutely gorgeous, and it has something that lowers the chance for rainbow effect.
I couldn't ask for a better TV.
Sure others have sold better for the games alone, but don't forget, toys, calendars, books, statues, keychains, cups, bumper stickers, DVD's, spinoff merchandise, etc.
Only ONE Game originated Intellectual Property has been worth more than Halo, that being Mario.
Don't worry about it. Come to the dark side.
Oh wait, if you don't like it, don't come over. Nobody is forcing you to.
Lair looks like it'll be awesome. Motorstorm is fun. ...
This is pretty selfless and I applaud Sony for making this possible.
@Fanboys - Even if nothing comes of it, running the PS3 24/7 won't hurt the environment as much as say, a refrigerator.
Even if nothing comes from the project at all, it's still an effort and efforts deserve praise as well. I don't have a PS3 yet but I fold on my quad core, my P4, my P2, and my XBox (Linux mod).
Of course, it's all pretty similar to my own webcomic. Perhaps I'll sue.

but I'm gonna say either a Phone, or games capability for the Zune.
Best case scenario for me, a software update that allows some XBox Live Arcade games to be played on the Zune.
And Sony fanboys, don't cry. Here's a peace offering from a 360 owner who's not a fanboy.

Don't read all of them though, you might not like them all.
...but I kinda wanna see if any more ignorant fanboys come in here to flame.
This looks pretty darn fun.
I think the last figure I saw was around 850,000 sold.
It's a hack for the PS2 version of Guitar Hero II.
That's why the song doesn't screw when the notes are missed, and why there are no Star Phrases throughout.
Deus Ex?
Have you played anything besides MGS? A lot of games do it better.
Or the N64 tried to copy the Atari 5200?
The Commodore Paddle?
Analog control is nothing new pal, and was never Sony's "idea". Neither is Tilt, Microsoft released a Sidewinder back in 1999 that had tilt. And the NES had a Power Glove and a U-Force.
Next argument.
Pitch (Forward / Backward)
Yaw (Left / Right)
Sony added
Roll (Clockwise / Counter Clockwise)
to the "Six" axis controller.
But it's definitely a step above the "6th" era machines of the PS2/XBox/GameCube.

The Wii is more of a "6.5" era.
It has truly next-generation controls, but last generation graphics.
However, to a gamer, graphics are secondary to actual gameplay. There's a reason I have $400 of Virtual Console games on my Wii, and $500 worth of XBLA games on my 360. the games are not graphically astounding, but they're fun. Good solid fun.
