The only thing that sucks about these pre-order things is that Amazon.com gets a type of grenade you can't get anywhere else, basically giving only certain players access to a weapon that will definitely have strong use in the games multiplayer.

No not even close. Rolling when a tentacle drops, then smashing X to cut it, repeat 4 times, then a quick time event plays out to drop rubble on it, and then the final thing to do is run up the rubble and drop a bomb down a hole. It's fuck easy. If these noobs are dying then turn the down difficulty or go back to call of duty.

To be honest, if you have the PC version it's great. Dedicated servers, always find a game, graphics look clean, can run at 60FPS, etc.
The issues lie with the console versions with lag and pop-in. The core gameplay is a lot of fun, especially with friends.

At one point in the game a character will lop of another man's balls, shove them in his mouth, then slit his throat. If that doesn't invoke some kind of emotion out of you or at the least make you say "WTF", then you need to see a doctor. :P

The combat really reminded me of Demon's Souls approach of being prepared and learning enemy patterns. The actual execution of the fights were stylish like Batman Arkham Asylum. That's a fantastic mishmash of winning formulas.

The game is great, but there is enough here to keep it from being a 10, which is supposed to be a perfect game. The Witcher 2 isn't perfect, but it's damn close.
What a troll ass article. The amount of people who WOULD go if they could get in would be through the roof ever year, but the fact is 80% of who CAN get in do go.

It's a weird situation. I'm the one who wrote up this review and I like the game, but it's impossible to overlook the problems with it, which to me aren't underlying gameplay issues, but technical ones like lag.
A 7/10 on our site means it's a good game, but there might be problems that we can't just whole heartedly recommend to everyone blindly.
