I have Gears for PC and a very high end rig ( I can run Crysis at 1920x1200 with very little frame lag) only on my PC have I seen Gears even come close to the marketing bullshots from 05. Of course that takes 4GB of DDR2 RAM, a quadcore and a 8800GTX768(the fastest card on the planet still 2 years after its release. It's kind of ironic that the definitive version is the one that had the least sales.

For example if developed on the PS3 Gears would've looked like the first shot, while the 360 is only capable of what you see in the second. ATI was actually a very bad choice for MS this time around. first came out and I read through the specs, then moreover contemplated what can be accomplished with the SPU's and right away I said Sony has this gen and most likely next gen won with this console, it is THAT POWERFUL.
come next gen they can sell PS3's for $150 and sell through to 300 million units. I think they will break their own record and prediction with a console that can easily go past a ten year cycle.

yes GTA "might" be better on the 360 as far as online features are concerned, but at the end of the day will this really matter against a competitor who is not only offering their own and in the case of a certain well publicized interview with a rockstar developer the "version with the graphical edge" but also Gran Turismo, Haze, MGS:4 and this article starts to look pretty silly on its face.
