Undersold is more accurate description, because most actually got very good reviews.
No links but from what is known:
-They are a small site and not an organization like NPD, yet they come up with different numbers.
-They list European numbers despite many countries being untrackable
-The admit to making "judgment calls" AKA "guessing"
-The sites owner was apparently banned from NeoGaf for "making up numbers"
-Sites numbers are different from official company releases from MS Nintendo or MS, ...
As I suspected, businessmen are suffocating developers in Japan, and are a main reason for the gaming decline there.
If you look at the good games coming from Japan, you find they are from devs with more freedom like Itagaki and the guys at Platinum and from smaller purer companies like Atlus (hope the management reshuffle doesn't screw them)
They need to "restore confidence" in the FF franchise in general.
5 times give or take, and will get bigger with expansions.
I'm a single player kind of gamer myself with no interest in MMORPGs, but BW promised to combine the 2 experiences, kind of like Demon Souls.
Will be my first PC game since Witcher (if it releases before Witcher 2)
I never played a game from BioWere that I didn’t love, from Baldur's Gate to Dragon Age, and with this game being a story driven MMORPG, they have my annual subscription already.
@pedrami91
As for work put into this, BW mentioned its about 5 times larger than a KOTOR game.
Flamebait
You serious?
Kinect is a more accurate EyeToy, like the Move is a more accurate Wiimote.
Sweet, didn't know about that
OK so your rich with rich friends, to normal people 150 is A LOT of money
Announce Persona 5 already
Bad Company 2 IS a better game than COD
You can find the campers in BFBC2 and deal with them, and it's easier to avoid their line of fire. But that is much more difficult in MOH.
I did camp myself in MOH and hostiles kept walking straight past me without a clue, I kept killing them until I ran out of ammo from my rifle and even my pistol.
But even so, some of my friends moved on to MOH and stayed in it.
Bottom-line "... unfortunately that fun doesn’t last long, as repeating the same 5 mini-games over and over tends to get old fast."
"Positive" reviews came from sites not known for gaming, and a lot of gaming sites held out from giving it a score, but they all confirmed the lag and recognition and response issues.
I lost some BFBC2 friends to this game, tried it for some time but couldn't get into it, too much camping, and too easy to camp.
One of the things I hate about Sony is their publishing, they should port this already.
The problem with Kinect is the games and the price, Kung Fu Live is 15$ I think, but Kinect games are full 60$ plus expensive hardware, and so far no interesting games, maybe that will change when we see gameplay from the TGS games.
My other problem is that it clearly took MS focus and funding from HC games.
I want more games like Kung Fu Live
Is the ending a cliffhanger or complete like ME1? That’s the only reason I held off until now.
