2004 was one fantastic year for gaming.
Exactly, this is their first year back after 3 years. They took THREE YEARS off to develop a next-gen basketball game, and the best they can come up with is a game that doesn't even look remotely next-gen and plays worse than NBA Live 2000? If that's the best they can do, they should definitely just quit.

Yeah, I've been waiting for a LotR RPG game my whole life. Just imagine a Elder Scrolls-like LotR game... Oh my god... I think the only reason we haven't seen a game like that yet is because EA was hogging the license for so long, releasing crap fighting games.
They forgot to add Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor.

2K only needs to improve on the lighting. The lighting in 2K games is always too dark. If you look at the real life photos, you see for example that the jerseys are much, much brighter than they are in the game.
Have you ever thought about the fact that every single developer out there is now LEARNING how to develop for these new consoles? When the PS3 launched, you wouldn't have expected them to release an Uncharted 3 caliber game, right? And you really should not judge the PS4 and its capabilities based on 2K's basketball game. Have you seen them on the PS3? They're not exactly a graphical powerhouse. This game still looks pretty darn good and I'm excited to see how the next install...
2K14 is looking sooooooo much better based on what we've seen from both games.
It's all in-game footage, but yeah, we need to see zoomed out, actual gameplay. But still, it looks pretty bad ass!
The Last Of Us
After his 2nd season he's already one of the top point guards in the league. His whole team was the reason he kept losing. A guy can't win it all on his own. Hopefully Cleveland can turn it around now that they've got Bynum.
You mean a guy that just finished his 2nd season in the NBA.... Gee, I wonder why he hasn't made the playoffs?

You're right, most NBA players are skinny. But NBA Live's players are way too skinny. In my opinion, NBA 2K's players are a little bit too bulky. A middle ground between the two games would probably be just right.
I've seen so many sites give this game a 9 POINT 9, lol... If they rank it that high, come on... just give it a ten.
Jesus christ, look at the reviews this game is getting! Game of the year, game of the decade, game of the generation, best PS3 exclusive, 10 after 10 after 10 after 10.... I mean, it's Naughty Dog, I knew it was gonna be good. But I did not expect it to make history!

Definitely. The controls were really fluid and I just loved the animations. They really got the gameplay down with this one. Now we just have to wait and see what the final graphics will look like :)
I gotta ask... How the hell do you see a downgrade? It still looks just as fantastic.
