It's probably also due to the fact that the standard PS4 has only two USB ports. How are you gonna charge your controllers if you have two external HDD's plugged in? Besides, I don't understand why this is an issue.
They've always been a console-first developer, I'm surprised people still don't realize that. They still might go the GTA-route, develop a quality version of the game for PC and release it a little bit later down the line. I'd take that any day rather than a sub-par port released at the same time.
In fact, playing it on the Vita would be a far less enjoyable experience. This game is so vivid and colorful, it really shines on a good TV. I would never play it on a handheld device.
This has been proven not true. The same guy redownloaded and reloaded the game and saw all of his discoveries again, so the stuff you discover and rename, plants, animals, planets, everything, it stays in there.

I don't assume it and I see you don't either, but the majority of people seem to see it that way. The word itself is not really the problem, it's just that article writers are using it in a negative way to create bad publicity for the game.

The matter is, them being called "episodes" makes people think they are chapters along the lines of Telltale Games, where you play 2 hours and then that chapter is done and you wait months for the next one, but that's not the case. The thing is, you don't know that FFVII's story itself is being broken up into multiple parts. They've already confirmed that the remake will be bigger and have lots more content than the original, and that each part will have its unique experience. They've also confirmed that each "episode" will be its own all-out RPG. To me, that sounds like the first part will be FFVII and all of its story, and the next parts would be perhaps new storie...
