In nVidia keynote, Jensen Huang stated that the GTX 1080 Ti can run a 4K demo demonstrating DLSS at 30-ish FPS, 'Turing GPU is twice the performance.' He also stated that the 'RTX 2070 has higher performance than the Titan Xp,' so RTX 2080 Ti will be much higher (take that with a grain of salt), but we won't know for sure before an initial in-depth review (Digital Foundry, FTW).
Bothered? GOTY? You think I care for that nonsense? I just play games, I don't care what people think about them.
I won't deny that RDR2 is a lot better than its predecessor though.
Man, you gotta love people who talk out of their arses. Out of all Rockstar products, only GTA IV and V outsold Call of Duty World at War (one of the lowest selling CoD ever) and Ghosts (had no chance against GTA V, really no game did) respectively. And only GTA V was the top selling game of its year.
And I believe GTA VI will be the best selling game when it is released over any other game.
Not even close. Call of Duty Black Ops was the top selling game in 2010, Red Dead Redemption came 4th on the list.
It is an overrated, over-praised and over-hyped piece of trash, in my opinion.
Even GTX 1080 Ti (the most powerful consumer-high end GPU right now) can't do consistent 4K/60FPS in AAA titles and that thing alone is $150-$200 more expensive than the Xbox One X. Hopefully Navi will change this, however, I don't have high hopes for it.
And I also don't think an upgradeable console will be a thing. Even Laptops aren't upgradeable (save RAM and Storage) and they are PC.
Both Origin and Windows Stores are only providing their own games (with Origin trying to expand its library with non-EA games only recently). They were never meant to compete Steam; just saving 30% of their profits.
