Yeah I understand what you mean, because a lot more Movies are more violent than any game, but I think it is because you are doing the action in the game, but when you watch a movie you're just watching it. Or something like that. It must be very violent to have been banned though, I would like to have seen some of the gameplay footage that cause the ban.
I hope it does go exclusive for PS3 actually, because 360 has already got Halo 3 and in terms of FPS I think that is enough, they don't need another game like that. Although I do believe 360 owners would like to see this on 360, it seems like it may be going for PS3 exclusive. Maybe Ubisoft doesn't have time to port it.
Seems like Blockbuster has had a major impact on the format war. Kinda expected this though, I wouldn't be surprised if all Movie publishers announced exclusivity to Blu-Ray, it would make our (consumers) lives a lot easier.
Nobody cares what some guy thinks, you buy the console for your own reasons, I bought a PS3 because I believe it has more potential than 360 and I know I would get bored of the Wii in a week. Plus I there are more games that I want that are coming out for PS3 than there are for 360.
I wouldn't mind having a 360, but I don't want to buy one and then it fails that would really piss me off. Maybe if MS fixes the red ring problems, I may buy one.
Everyone has their ...
I feel bad for Rockstar, they will probably try and steer clear from Wii now, because it actually makes you do the action of killing someone in the game whereas a conventional pad you just press a button. I don't think the sensors will like that.
Hopefully they don't ban GTA 4, a lot of people here (UK) would go crazy if that happened
I wish even more people buy it now. Stupid dumbshits in the Parliament!! If the game's goal was to destroy churches constantly all over UK, you may have had some meat to your argument, but it is just a battle in a church against ALIENS (how more unrealistic can you get)
This game is the only reason I want to get a DS, but I only want this game
I think it's just that in EU less people trust Microsoft, it is like that in UK, most people are willing to wait for PS3 price drop than compromise on getting a 360 or will buy both. Plus Playstation brand is very strong in UK, I knew before the EU launch that the PS3 would do very well in UK compared to other territories.
By "hitting a wall" it means that sales aren't going higher than a certain point. But I think Halo 3 will spike sales for 360 and MGS4/FF13 for PS3...
Cheers for this, its awesome, lthough framerate is a litle slow
Good, PC FPS games should never have crossplay with console, the PC experience should not me marred due to the controller disadvantage to mouse and keyboard
Damnit! I want this game aaahhh!!! It better not be delayed for no reason, if they are adding extra content, fair enough, if they are just delaying it to annoy everyone in EU...I will devour their souls!!!
Can I just say...that looks really really bad. All it needs is slightly longer and ergonomic handles, nothing else needs changing and rumble would be nice.
This design looks like they couldn't decide where to put stuff so they played pin the button on the controller.
With the special battery specs released, I can't see this of being very useful to the PSP homebrew scene, because it seems like it's the hardware that allows the unbricking and not the software on the memory stick :(
Just to add this, this isn't against 360 owners in any way, its just a joke against some of the Gamespot Editors that are way in to achievements, Jeff Gerstmann (the one singing on the TV) being the main one.
Btw the source just goes to the general technical forum, because I wrote this news, so no news source to go to, just the 20 odd threads saying "OMG MY STATS ARE FROZEN" are enough.
I think you find it more funny if you know what the Gamespot guys are like, I've been watching their live vidcast for couple of years now, so I'm used to their comedy.
I have no idea, but its special apparently, I don't see how a battery could affect the Unbricking process, guess we will just have to wait for someone to test this out and see if it works
For PSP homebrewers it is positive news, as long as we figure out what the "Special Battery" is. Basically it means that PSP owners could technically test any and all homebrew that tries to access the PSPs flash safe in the knowledge that they could unbrick their PSPs with this program if something were to go wrong.
thanks now I can see it normally without needing a really wide screen lol
This game looks fantastic. I was about to post this story, but GameTrailers already had this footage. I think they have had it for a while too, because their most latest COD footage was an Interview about Lighting and Effects in the game, and Bog Rescue was lower on the list.
