Damn 3 exclusives in 1 month for PS3. I really want to get WKC (comes out Feb 26 UK), but Heavy Rain is priority for me.
It's sad that nowadays a "classic" game is considered to be from PS2 or Xbox. I personally don't even consider PS1 or Sega Genesis/SNES as classic systems, even though I started out on a Sega Master System. Still, no doubt that even the slightly newer games (PS1/PS2) have had a huge effect on games today.
It doesn't need it, nothing NEEDS it, but it would be nice. It would also work very well in this too, because you have a squad of 3 at all times, so it would work and would make the game a lot more tactical.
@thereapersson - Dunno why you got a disagree, that is all true.
Yeah it is the only thing in the game that is really annoying, yet you have to do it to progress in the game. It would have been much better if there were only 5 massive deposits on each planet, whereas you can actually use 30 probes on each planet on both big and small deposits.
Still, it's a lot more realistic than the last game where you just go over the planet, and it does an auto scan.
Anyone else have too much Iridium? I have like 100,000+ of Iridium, and it is by far the easiest to find resource.
Hardest thing to find is Element Zero, so I'll definitely check out number 1 on this list.
I don't think it would work, too many people played GTA already to want a HD remake. IMO not enough people have played Ico and SotC, which are perfect for a collection game. I just played Ico yesterday on PS2, and aside from the annoyingly high contrast, the graphics still hold up very well for such an old game (~8 years old).
Would love to play that in HD with trophies again, one of my favourite games ever.
Wow this is a pathetic cry for hits.
@Sangria - Oh don't worry about it, just a little joke from Jaffe's recent poll. He basically had one of the options as "Twisted Metal, Screw that, we hate that sh*t over here in Europe!"
But yeah, I honestly don't like Twisted Metal, but I do understand that it has a big following in North America, which is why I am bound to get so many disagrees. :)
I'm actually very happy at this news. I'm from UK, so obviously I don't really like Twisted Metal lol, but I love GOW. So before whenever everyone's written a list stating "Jaffe Exclusive," I just passed over it thinking it's TM. So now I am actually more excited that this will be a game that would appeal to me.
I hope that Wipeout still lives.
Wow, so this might even mean that other stuff e.g. Dreamcast games, could also be true.
Wow good sales, definitely deserves it, and more than I expected at launch. Still, it's been a while since I played anything good on my 360, so I can see why everyone went out and bought this, seen as it is the first premier Xbox title for 2010.
Good for Bioware, and I prefer this over Dragon Age any day, which was just nowhere near as good as Mass Effect.
This bit is interesting:
"an analyst said the $50 million was a loan..."
I though analysts were always wrong?
@torrence - "Now many PS3 rigz will tell you that Microsoft wasted $50 million dollars on this DLC." Way to be "unbiased," and not start a flamewar. Too late. Also tell that to the family of Ensemble studios workers, or ACES studios workers. They could have kept both studios open with this money.
Plus h...
Hope it's Darkness 2, loved that game.
I haven't seen any adverts in the UK for this yet, and surprisingly we got a lot for Uncharted 2. Anyway, good numbers, as I said before I'd expect ~3 million lifetime sales for this one.
Looks like Halo/Metroid, but i'm guessing it will be TPS. I dunno, Japanese-made shooter games are not always great, but I'll keep an open mind for now.
F***'s sake, Wii only??? I have a Wii, but I don't want to play an RPG on it. I was expecting Lost Odyssey 2 :(
Also "The Last Story," what a lame name. Last = Final, Story = Fantasy pretty much.

That rumor was shot down by many people, saying it was wrong. Oh wait, turns out it's true.
It's not a first party game though, it's third party.
