On topic - This is probably just one of those games that had to get canned because of the financial problems. They better announce Final Fantasy VII remake at E3, it is the only thing that could redeem their financials.

True, but the I don't see why anyone would do it personally. Sony sends you promotions and stuff through that email, so if you put a fake email in, you might have missed out on tons of free betas and codes.
If you use something like 10minutemail, then that would be a fake email technically, because the account only lasts 10 mins. But when I registered my PSN account, I don't remember having to confirm it. Maybe I'm wrong?
Then you should be able to just log in on your PSP if you reset the pw on PS3. Because as long as you downloaded something on your PS3, it still counts as an active account on that console, so you can reset the pw on there.
Why don't you use the same account as on your PS3? That's how I do it, so I can share some content between them e.g. minis.
So it looks like everyone did try to connect to PSN at the same time lol.
Glad to see all these services getting restored, i really need to sync my trophies, if the update will ever finish downloading. Seems to get to 12% and freeze :(
I hope Wada gets fired, he's ruined Squeenix, and for some reason supported a console in Japan that has the lowest install base. I'm not a business person, but I know to release games where the fan base is!
This could convert a lot of Halo players to PS3. I know some people say not to compare it to Halo, but Warhawk has great gameplay and great online, now it looks like Halo. That's not a bad thing, and they're not ripping off Halo like many fanboys will argue. There will still be deeper online, and more vehicles e.g. planes which Halo has never had.
Wow, this looks like it could be Halo for PS3. Warhawk had great gameplay, only thing it lacked was graphics. Now it has the gfx and the sci-fi environment.
I can't even imagine how epic this could be. GOW is one of the best hack n slash games around, so I'd be really interested in what Sony Santa Monica could do with the FPS genre. But, I'm getting kinda bored with the sheer amount of FPSs so it better be very different.

Seriously doubt it. Any court case would side with Sony because they were a victim of a hack an had to take the service down to protect users.
