1) It makes it more compelling for a mom/dad to look at it vs. Wii and stick it in their cart with a copy of Halo3. Plus, check out the branding on the front. Mom and Dad know the Uno and Pacman brands and likely have pleasant memories of them.
2) As far as DEMOS, it doesn't make sense. On a separate package (not the console box) but the included DVD box, it shows all five games "plus 5 trial games". If M$ only included the trials for these, where is the "plus??&...

While the graphics are good (and I can't wait for the online play), my complaint is with the AI. I shouldn't be able to low-kick repeatedly for the win; the same thing could be said for running the same play in Madden and NCAA-- the commentators notice it enough to comment on it but the AI never really picks up on it. After the E3 demo and so many other great titles coming out, I'll be passing on this one-- no demo, no buy (Crackdown's demo persuaded me to buy it, Saints Row not so much). It certainly is a pain that search isn't there--this should've been a core feature. As a programmer, I have a very hard time believing they can't patch that. Couldn't versus "its difficult" is a huge gap. In fact, "CAN'T" be done isn't realistic. They don't want to spend the time (i.e. money) to do it.
Bottom line, this is supposed to be the premiere online fragfest, one that will be played for years (and I currently do enjoy). While I understand them wantin...
I hope the real game lets you spread out, as the demo has you sandwiched in a small area. Still, you can ride rides, create rides, and get about as involved as you want in the strategic management. User-created content would be sweet here, as you could share/buy coasters from others. My kids will be trying it when they get home from school later--hopefully it'll pique their interest more than Star Wars Battlefront on the PS2 (their current game of choice). gCM
