Yeah I think your list pretty much covers it, but lets not forget that there could be unannounced titles for 09' because with micro around you don't want to show off your stuff unless it is pretty close to the release date.
Well if Sony was to fall all I could say is that they certainly changed the gaming industry and made consoles more mainstream and technologically orientated. It's sad when I have to read articles like these almost every five minutes where someone is trying to imply that the PS3 will fade away into peoples memories.

Please be a little mature and create constructive comments so that true gamers can benefit. This is just pointless and instead of trying to sell dlc for a one year old game that has several issues why not do that for free, or include it on the space provided by the Blu-ray disk. And if they want to sell something through the PSN why not do a mini game which is related to the original game eg. Ratchet and clank: quest for booty. There are several ways you can make money but this is just the principles of extortion.
I agree the ps3 sales are solid and will only get better. I guess some people recognize quality when they see it
Guys i am not worried about Sony anymore. Reason being they are still selling ps2 consoles just think for a bit if those people wanted a 360 they could easily afford it, but that's just my opinion. I think Sony is still the most favorable console its just that some people are waiting on a price drop, until then they have their ps2.

You know its funny how game developers work so hard to build a game and the last thing they need is discouragement. Guys please, I know this might not compare to previous SFs and notice i said "might" because the game hasn't been released yet and already it is getting stick. If game developers were to follow each and everyone of your needs we wouldn't have anything to play. imo this game is a must buy.

well the wii is last gen in terms of graphics. The ps3 and 360 are juggernauts when it comes to features and graphics, for this the wii does not compare. however i can see your point that this battle is mainly between the ps3 and 360 mainly because of the audience nintendo is trying to aim at, but you cannot ignore the fact that nintendo does exist.

Adding ps2 games that are no longer compatible with the newer ps3 models on the psn can only compensate for any inconvenience. Perhaps by doing this most of those ps2 titles can be converted into HD. I know most ps3 owners with ps2 titles will not approve but what about other people's opinions, some will welcome the idea while others will hate it is just a natural trend in gaming evolution
I do agree that it can be bad when your console of choice fail. Who would actually want to spend £370 on a machine only to see it go down with all the quality games it has to offer.
