No one should be persecuted for their own decision to purchase something they like. I have mentioned this to my friend over and over that "its your money and you should spend it however you choose if you see value."
Although I am looking forward to getting a PS4, I do not hold anything against anyone who wants something different. But I will say that I'm glad none of us were prepared to bend over to corporate greed.
Ask Microsoft, they have all the answers ;)
I have mixed feelings
lol dude you are killing me.
Its probably not ideal but it's the best they could do given the situation with big 3rd party publishers being involved 'cough EA'. Depending on the terms of these passes I will decide whether to purchase new or wait for a price drop(That's the price publishers will pay for their greed).
Update: if certain games require 'always on' connection its a no buy.
They should build a steam box equivalent that is always connected to the Internet, that would clear up the confusion ;)
Don't worry no one will attack him because there is simply no one to attack him ;)
But seriously I will not get the console because plain and simple I'm only on 15gb per month. This cloud thingy just makes it even worst.
Sorry double post.

Here's another impression, it sure left an impression on me :)

Its not about me buying one, it seems they have gone out of their way to stop me from doing so.
I have mixed feelings because:
1. Those TV features are US based.
2. My Apartment is small and that console looks huge, and don't get me started on Kinect.
3. There's a fee for using second hand games.
4. System must be connected once every 24hrs.
The only positive for me would be the controller.
Every company spew BS once in a while to cover their asses. I personally don't believe this but I thought it was interesting and it kind of adds up to some of the info that was leaked before.
That's not the only issue check this out,

Here's an article about the always on connection:

Like my Dad use to say "you will never get a second chance to make a first impression". The only thing I saw was TV features, Kinect gestures, Internet Explorer, A mention of 15 exclusive(8 new), and a few CGI of multiplat games. Like the controller though but that's about it.

After the reveal Geoff Keighley asked Don about this and he said there will be offline capabilities.
I agree, the set-up and infrastructure are completely different, a game console is specifically made to play games where as tablets are " look I can do gaming too". Well that's my perception and its really awkward and clumsy to game in certain genres.
