Sorry for the late reply, by I totally agree. I'm getting a little tired of all these games with a "horde mode" where you just run around and kill until you die. It would be so cool if you could actually barricade yourself, as you said, and actually survive monster attacks and such.
Either way, I cannot wait for this game!

I think comparing a shooter game's difficulty level to Demon's Souls is just... Off. In a shooter game, difficulty level is based on how much health you have, and how much damage you do. Oh, and how many grenades the enemy spams.
The difficulty of a game like Demon's Souls requires intellect precision, and some trial and error.
You shouldn't really compare them.
Btw, Demon's Souls isn't on Xbox... -_- Maybe you meant ...

As for the "it looks great but could play awful" line... Just come on... Really? If it is ANYTHING like Uncharted, or just in the general style Naughty Dog works with, I think it's safe to say it will play perfectly fine.
Agreed. Killzone 3 was beautiful but it seemed like people were too concerned that it didn't play *exactly* like Killzone 2 to even notice...
Funny, because I was playing BF3 on the PS3 a few hours ago and encountered a rank 8 with an MP7 with multiple attachments, a rank 13 with a USAS, and a rank 2 with a Saiga. Keep in mind, that these same people with the exact same weapon combinations spanned throughout several matches. It was honestly annoying.
I'm sorry; it just frustrates me to see players capable of buying everything instead of working for them. I understand that is very selfish thinking, but even so, I just feel cheated.

Majora's Mask is #1 IMO. It was manic, it was disturbing, it was f**king fun. I also feel like it has the most replay-ability of all the Zelda games.

Whatever; On topic, I always go with PS3, but I think Xbox could be a lot better off if Microsoft would stop thinking the Kinect is the future of gaming. Xbox just needs some solid support for it's core user base.

Example: What happens when a guy who has no care in the world for a certain game reviews that game? It generally gets a mediocre score.
