Yeah, It Is. Sorry to ruin your dreams of this game being just another generic shooter (What kind of troll wants that anyways?) but if you would just educate yourself for like 10 seconds about this game, you'll discover the truth.
Well according to people who have played it, so far, the controls and movement scheme are comfortable, it's just the aiming itself that feels a little loose.
So it isn't clunky or heavy, just loose. That's a good start in my opinion.

What's up with people and shotguns lately? Come on people, this is Battlefield, not Call of Duty!
In reality, a shotgun could dominate someone from some pretty insane distances, and for this reason, I think that if DICE wants their game to be as realistic as possible, shotguns shouldn't even be a usable option.
It's an MMO because outside of matches, all players exist within the same single-shard server. No lobbies, no servers, just one open world which you can run around with your character.
Yes, DUST514 is a Massively Multiplayer Online First Person Shooter. It even has extremely deep RPG elements and a player controlled economy. It also happens to be a sandbox game that spans through 7,000 planets, each with 10-20 unique maps on it. That's 70,000 playable maps at minimum, while every other FPS game has between 9-16.

I agree about PlanetSide, but DUST514 goes beyond in the sense that it isn't just a shooter. It may only have 24v24, but what the game does outside of the shooter realm is revolutionary.

Dark Cloud is just such a f**cking amazing game... But I don't think the Dark Genie is well-known enough. He'd totally be an amazing final boss for All-Stars... Just like I said, he's not well-known enough.
