Hey man, I understood your point of view. From some time I prefered easy games. I prefered story over game mechanics. Now Im starting to be amazed by games like Bloodborne or Nioh. Theres special feeling when you achieve something you couldnt do so many times! I think all these games have place in our homes. Im looking forward for Senuas sacrifice a lot. I resisted preordering it because Nioh is consuming all my spare time now :-)
Yeah, wait was really long. I bought PS4 with wheel only for gt7/s....in January 2016 :-) LOL. I tried driveclub, PC2, FH3, but I have to admit It wasn't so entertaining and interesting to me like gt5 and gt6. I don't know why, but it's that way. I'm looking forward for gts to enjoy racing game again!

I think its only up to devs. Difficulty of game can be something, that is meant to be and is part of game mechanics. If its too hard for you dont play it, its simple :-). Lot of games are hard for me, but Im used to it. 15 years ago lot of games were hard. 20 years ago almost all games were hard. Of course it has something to do with target audience. And thats the thing! Target audience.

Yeah, maybe, but consider XOX is capable of 4K. What if someone wants to make a game, which is heavy GPU compute dependent? Something OG XO cant handle so well.
I can imagine in a few years XOX will have some exclusives on its own and can make a step forward in terms of generations. If MS plans to be always BC compatible, it makes sense. It is always worse to make bc with new cpu, but it may be much easier within x86 arch then x360 on xo.

Certainly XOX is great machine. And if you are casual gamer and dont look at exclusives so much, dont need japanese games (jrpgs and others) too much, XOX will do its job perfectly. Its strong enough, its architecture is optimized for 4K with relatively good price.

It really depends on software. If you look through past, you see, that lot of "most powerful consoles" were not so much profitable and usually didnt mean any breakthrough in company sales.
Thats because if people buy console, they look for very good games. There are few, that seek only power.

I simply want to race and to feel enthusiasm of devs in game. I didnt feel it in Forza or Project Cars only in Gran Turismo series. That doesnt mean they are bad. I simply like GT more. I dont care about tree leaves. I care about cars. I dont want to show to my friends how great are textures or how engine roars loud. I want to race and participate in online championships. I hope GTS is evolution of GT5/6 to car fans not console fanboys. Let the race begins!

Lot of people around don't want to buy console simply because you have to also buy games instead of copy them. I also did it earlier, but one day realized, it's good to buy games and support developers. But not so many people think that way .
Using PC only for some fps games or realtime strategies like Starcraft. For everything else PS4: platformers, party games, kid games, etc... pc is great but can't imagine to buy it for kid. On consoles it's super easy to set rating. Also for parties...on pc we always have problem with something. On console never. So that's it. On the other hand I love building high end pc rigs. So I will always have good gaming pc at home :-)
You are right. Xox has Also jaguar CPU. It's tweaked but still jaguar. Lot of developers already said, fps is mainly CPU bound on these lower power cpus. Both pro and xox have powerful gpu but bad CPU ( albeit cheap !!!)
Yeah , marios are great (and tough! :-) ). Still I think this "hardcore" mechanics may have critical influence on gameplay in positive way. It's like good old number of lives way . I remember playing all that old games from start on and on and on... it was frustrating, fun and also fulfilling:-)
