Yes, it is better this year and every year in the past 3 years. The game review score was dodged this year because they lost the UCL licencing. On the pitch, game play is superior and no like any other football game made.
Copy and Paste game gets an 8? Same as FIFA 18 with the addition of UCL. Save your money and dont buy it

Indeed. Never had such a feeling playing a football game. The online is much improved and responsive, unlike previous years. It is shame of reviewers to give it a lower score because of the missing kits which you can upload in a few minutes using a free option file.
The game is unmatchable in football gaming history, watch them now give copy and paste FIFA 9's and 10's.
As a 20+ years gamer, i would say this is the best ever made football game... From a game play prespective.....
One of he best football game ever played. The review is unfair. If you are worried about kits, get an option file and you are good to go with all original kits. The game is really superb on the field which is what really matters.
and I can give you one reasonable reason not to get it (unlike what is listed, i.e. new kick off lol). The game is a copy and paste from last year with minimal changes. EA will keep doing this, same as with Madden franchise.
Its not a big deal. It simple, competitors wants access to Sony huge install base and Sony would not allow it. Those competitors are making a big fuss about it to make Sony look bad. MS did it last generation and no one talked about it.

You can upload all original Kits online and you will have fully licenced teams and leagues using the shared kits from PES community. It just took one hour to upload all kits in PES 2018 and everything is authentic.
The game still has issues months after release. Matchmaking sucks and lag is Terrible in many games. Worst matchmaking I have seen in years in the COD series.

I would have to disagree.. I think they will be there for cosmetic items and not related to core play. EA was hit hard in BF2 where sales almost dropped 50% due to loot boxes impacting core play. Also, MT's impacted Need for speed game and they ended changing the system there also. This year was a big failure to EA in terms of sales due to MT's. I am glad that gamers stood up for EA and made them feel the pain.
Not sure whats the big buzz about BC... I buy new console to play new games. I don't even play games which I already completed on PS4 last couple of years ago. (Uncharted... MGSV.....). The BC is exaggerated and the usage of such service is I believe is only limited to a few or minimum users.

GTS is a shallow experience to demonstrate VR. Would have been better if it was bundled with other VR Games.
