You can’t call an event excellent when the game of the show is a remake of RE4. The show is still underwhelming. However, I understand some people calling it great because it is possibly the best of the worst State of play shows.
I don’t like the state of play water dripping approach and rather prefer the big bang event approach like E3 shows.

I would have to say that DriveClub is better than GT and Forza. If not for the bad online launch and first bad impression, I would have expected the game to sell tons of copies.
This is my own opinion and it is based on fun factor. Regardless of graphics or details, it was more enjoyable for me to play DriveClub than GTs or Forza.
Looks no better than last gen to be honest.... I don't see much differences than GT Sports.
Basically, a waste of time like all other state of play shows. Live events are much better.
It is really hard for such a game to come back from a miserable launch. The first impression of game will always last and would be very hard to change.... Bigger names never been able to recover from bad launches such as CyberPunk 2077, Drive Club, No Mans Sky, Anthem, fallout 76, etc...
Although many of those games were improved and become better games during their life time, none was able to recover from a miserable start, first impression is what decides games fate.
State of Play have been lackluster at best...never been interesting or intriguing like live shows. Feels like watching the same boring news on CNN over and over.
RIP PES, from a faithful fan who bought the game every single year for almost 17 years.
The game doesn't even look next Gen... who cares if garage is Blu ray supported or not...
And I was thinking that Cold War is bad, this is even worse. very poor visibility and redish all over the screen.
Konami trying to dump the long time loyal fans of game and attract a new generation with a new name,logo, and online focus. The online part was never a strength of PES, it was always better played offline with friends and family. I never thought I will say this, but I am jumping the ship to FIFA for the first time in 16 years.

At least E3 was not as boring as the miserable state of play that we get randomly out of no where. E3 would tell us about new games and when to expect them instead of the guessing game of Sony Fans.... WIll Sony have a big event or not? no one knows? when is the next miserable state of play... no one knows.

E3 was the PlayStation Christmas which every Sony fan waits for every year. At least, we would know when things are coming and when games would be revealed. We are now sitting in the dark and don't know when announcements will happen and trying to find leaks if a big event will be held by Sony or not and when it will be held.
Amid waiting for a big event, we are hit with a death loop lame state of play.

To sum it up, Sony just cheated all PS5 early adaptors. No need to buy a PS5 as almost all big hitters AAA sony exclusives are going to be on PS4. Sony knew this and didn't communicate it up front. This is the new Jim Rayan Sony, cross generation games that limits next Gen capabilities and Sony Exclusives to PC.

Microsoft will have to do this again in a different form or way. They cant continue operating based on current prices, the GP is not sustainable with those prices as the games on GP costs millions of dollars. I used it many times to download background pictures for PS4. It was easy and straight forward. I do hope that Sony is not forcing us to buy themes and background pictures for PS5.
Sony set the bar of lying.... they should be sued for misleading customers. From only can be done on PS5 and turns out that it is a cross gen game. They also lied about preorders timing.
No reason to upgrade at current time, will stick with PS4 until GOW cones out assuming that it won't be cross gen.
Digital foundry review is full of lies... once thought of as a credible review source, comes up with lame excuses about in shade and off shade lightning issues as the reason why the game doesn't look good.
DF ignored the bad textures, charchter model, and flat graphics and focused on lighting. They even started comparing lighting from The last of us 2 with Halo from a lighting perspective. ... what a joke.

Enough milking of this game, no one should buy it. It is getting rediclious.... the same game on PS3, PS4, and now PS5. People should boycott this game so Sony would stop abusing gamers with the same game over and over.
