I WANT TO NOTE ALL... EACH JOY-CON HAS A 20 HR CHARGE, SO WITHOUT THE CHARGING GRIP IT IS STILL GOING TO LAST A GOOD WHILE
Just wanted that known as it hasn't been reported on as well as it should. I feel this lessens the need for the pro controller or charging grip.
Granted, I bought a charging grip and don't mind $30. Shoot I am spending $360 for system+Zelda, might as well may another $30 to guarantee 40+ hours of game-time charge!
This comment was made void to me as soon as I read the words of an ignorant troll.
Good game... must be a happy life.
They are but games like Wonderful 101, Bayonetta 2, Splatoon, Xenoblade, Hyrule Warriors, Super Mario U & Luigi U... all those are at least $30 and up. Maybe used is different but I don't usually check GameStop for prices.
A lot of games there that I'd buy if there were under $15
Good point, definitely amazing to see $250 Wii U's with $300 Switch's coming out.
I currently moved my Wii U to the bedroom and it's what I play in bed and allows me to watch netflix on that TV. Finishing up Yoshi's Wooly World now. Definitely a fine console, but to me, it's been one of the more disappointing ones I can remember.
I love my Vita and Gamecube, both still setup/being used, the Wii U... I struggled to find a reason to ha...
Nintendo should drop the price for their Wii U games then, would love to buy some games at a discount. I understand their desire to keep value and keep prices relatively high, but when support is over throw the 12 million (myself included) who supported a lackluster failure.

can... not... wait...
EDIT: Interview is great, Aonuma is a great dev/guy to hear from
The Order is a good game! I enjoyed the world and paid $60 for it, got the platinum (easy if you're into that).
Regardless of price I would say this is a good use of 7 hours. Story is good, gameplay may be the only issue, there's not much of it and some found it horrible. I thought it was a good 3PS
NA store please
It was good, basically a "not as good as" Journey.
Music was cool and the graphics are cool, but Journey and even Flower felt more... weighty. They had more in their chest, so-to-speak.
I remember finishing it and being glad that I only paid $9 for it.
Game looks very promising... I am sure most people wouldn't care about the pixels if today's gaming culture didn't demand all companies release spec sheets for games now.
Just release Skyward Sword HD for Wii U as consolation and then I can keep my Wii U forever for having 4 HD 3D Zelda games :)
I'm excited to have the Switch soon. The controller(s) are expensive but most outlets I pay attention to seem to think the price is justified, while high. The HD rumble is very real and very unique to the Joy-Con. Those Joy-Cons do a lot for the variety of different ways it can be used (motion controls, half of a full controller, a sideways controller itself, the scanning technology, etc.). It's not like it's a tiny piece of plastic.
Now the pro-controller, ...
Here's how my console war for 2017 looks (for now):
PS4 –Nioh, Nex Machina, Uncharted DLC, Crash trilogy, Horizon
XB1 – cuphead, Sea of Thieves, Below (fingers crossed), and Crackdown 3
Switch – New Zelda, Splatoon 2, and New 3D Mario game
I’ll have fun on all 3 this year I believe…
Pun not approved
Nintendo will make great games forever, right now, they're on Wii U/Switch. Therefore, I buy those consoles.
That's how I think.
My theory:
Demand for it was more "real" than not. 3DS and Wii U's dried up. I believe Nintendo put all their manufacturing power into making Switch's. They may not still have a lot, and thus a scarcity has been made, but I don't think it's on purpose.
They can't have another Wii U, they need to produce and make and sell as many units at launch as possible, hold any extra stock if there is any, and create bundles for Splat...
Need it or not, it SHOULD have some sort of achievement/trophy system. I enjoy going for Platinums much more than 1000GS but that's just my preference. I could see me just as easily being into achievements for Nintendo games where you go for: Mushroom, Fire Flower, Star, Ice Flower, Feather, etc. You could even categorize them differently than Sony/MS do.
I.E. have "Poison Mushroom" achievements for games that are for doing bad/dumb things in games. Fall i...
Physical, always physical. For both Best Buy Gamers & Amazon (w/ prime). Digital never gets the 20% discount.
I stopped Best Buy as I buy 95% of games digitally now, the only exceptions are for Nintendo games b/c they're systems don't have the best storage capacities and I don't like external HD's with my consoles.
Glad I have Prime for other reasons but the 20% off helps when I need to buy the 5 Nintendo games a year.
Got mine pre-ordered at Target! Very excited for the next Nintendo device. Odyssey looks amazing as well. $300 isn't too much money for the great games I'll have for the next few years. Sad that most seem upset by the reveal. I don't want Switch to play online, I have PS4 for that.
Well no offense, but you're boned from a price stand-point if you live in AU. They're prices are crazy, I concede that to you.
But $300 for the best hand-held on the market and a solid "secondary home console" for any XB1/PS4/PC owner is a really good deal IMO. I bought the Switch for their first party games.
Also $300 isn't expensive and if you're into gaming, gaming cheaply isn't the best or most fun way to play games. D...
