You don't understand 'freedom of speech'. This is not a free speech issue. Free speech as supported by the constitution means persecution from the government. That is all. This means, the guy can go on a public street corner with a bullhorn and say whatever he likes without inciting violence, and the government can not jail him for it.
Free speech has NOTHING to do with a corporation patrolling how their platform is used.
When you sign a Terms of Service agreement, you waive your "free speech" rights....but this is not a free speech issue. He is welcome to stand on the corner and say whatever he likes, but if he is using someone else's platform, you play by their rules. Simples really.

Sony can do whatever they want with their own platform. You also have the right to buy into that platform or not. That is how this works. The market will decide if Sony's decision actually affects anything. Protip: It's just a bunch tryhard babies that will still be buying PS5's and Exclusives from Sony in the future.
