Kinect can not do 1:1 motion.
The Move can track punches as fast as you throw them. I am not saying the gameplay is awesome, but the controls work very well.
There is a reason ALL Mo-Cap is done with tiny balls stuck on actors...because it is the most accurate way to track movement.

I think they should have kept them in the game but maybe limit where they could be thrown. They wouldn't work if thrown inside the radius of an objective or too close to the enemy spawn. Something like that could have worked maybe.
I will miss the mobile spawn points but I won't miss the cluster ucks they created most of the time.
