You only need one Vita, you could possibly need multiple cards. it is not the same.
I feel the same...well, about the memory card prices, not people being poor and cheap.
I think the price of the system itself is fine, it is the memory card prices that are ridiculous. When the card prices drop, then I will get a Vita. It is more of a principle thing for me. Memory just doesn't need to be that expensive, period.
maybe not solely but I bet the option will be there either at launch or down the line.

just buy the full game and don't play the SP. The MP alone is worth $60.
The game is releasing on PSN but it will be the full game not just MP...at least that is what I read.

cone is correct. There are a bunch of new players to Starhawk that didn't play Warhawk. The earlier you get into it, the better off you will be.
There is a high learning curve but only because there are so many things to do and ways to kill your opponent.
You have the air combat, ground/vehicle combat, and troop combat to master, plus the building aspect. The single player portion of the game will prime you for multiplaye...
LOVE this game!
I'm sure the single player will help you understand the mechanics of the game better and you can carry that into multiplayer.
The multiplayer will also have certain types of lobbies that are ranked by skill so you can play with players on your level.

I agree, I still use The Fight as part of my workout routine from time to time. Do some sets, hit the bag/dummy, and fight a few chumps. The game wasn't perfect, but the accuracy and 1:1 movement really can't be beat!
