Let's not forget that video games is just another medium for story telling, better yet, interactive story telling, and the better the story is, the more immersed the player is.
You don't get that with books, being your own hero and saving the world.
Some players want a sense of direction , others like to be let at their own device and figure out the world.
There's enough game variety for both genres to thrive.
I wanna get Saint Seya for nostalgia's sake and for some fun mindless gameplay, but it's still a lil over my price range.
It's gone digital so it's not like it has limited copies...hmmm.
It is a bit maddening that it doesn't have netflix, nor hulu plus...but if someone bought it for the vita games and the psn games/psone/psp and the psnow library then there's that incentive.
Other media will roll out.
Sorry, it's just the basics of marketing, to create hype around a device and to get those who don't have it yet to buy into it and to also show its user base what's to come for the device they bought.
Customers often ask, well what can it do that others like this one can't and what's coming out for it..?
Those are excellent, but I agree, I'd rather carve than mess with paint, however, if it's for a crafting project with kids, painting may be less dangerous.
from what I read, the developers were influenced by demon souls (art, level design, difficulty) and shadow of the colossus.
It looks like an 8bit era love letter to dungeon crawlers and puzzlers.
Some pretty good deals!
oh that's not bad at all, a few more outlets to play it on. it seems to be a microsoft exclusive. (timed or not?)
It seems beautiful and atmospheric, the soundtrack is amazing and plunges you right into the ambiance of the game!
Such sadness when gorgeous games like these aren't multiplatforms, woud've loved it on Vita.
woohoo, it's turning out to be a great update! Now let's work on getting a PS4 for myself! haha (aw, I just made myself sad)
Ermac or Kenshi...I think?
Anybody wanna toss me their copy once they're done playing? lol
O.T: I'm glad it's well received and I hope it's a hit sales wise just to show third party developers that it's okay to take a chance on the WiiU with the right marketing and the right game for the audience/user base.
if we were to base it off trailers without gameplay, I am excited and would be delighted to play both; but since there is evidence of gameplay footage for bloodborne, I am slightly more excited to play that title, until I see more of SC.
Big fan of platinum games and their action adventure games have been nothing short of fun and innovation.
They need to release this on the vita in the indie section!
is that the one with the game, the GC controller and GC adapter for $99?
BL means Boy love, it's yaoi from what I understand.
I'd love to play No thank you!
I thought that the Naruto games were developed by CyberConnect2 and they are very good at making fighting games.
I suppose I'll have to see more gameplay videos.
I'd love nothing more than to jump in the DBZ universe, it's what I grew up on.
I'd love to see some BL otome make it on the Vita. From what I read on siliconera, it has solid story telling and some good art style.
Haven't heard much from SSM...was almost sure they'd make an appearance at E3, not so at TGS, but was still hoping.
Wondering what they have down the pipeline. Always the ones to watch for great action games.
Those creepy crawly "zombies" in the first uncharted used to freak me out, some of the colossi in shadow of the colossus, especially that under water electric eel/ dragon/serpent.
El lago in RE4 made me shiver.
