most demos give you a taste of whats to come, most people liked what the demo offered with the expectation that the combat will expand beyond that offering more combos and abilities. They do offer more abilities, but unfortunately the depth of the system is only puddle depth. I can't believe they thought having one combo string was enough.

Unfortunately the game is hella ass. They should remove the specialists, libertad has the best ability so just give healing to everyone since everyone is using libertad. Hit registration is unbelievably awful. The whole game feels like mobile trash.
GOW's weakest boss fight was better than FF16s press square to win lmao, nothing wrong with that tho, Kingdom Hearts does it better tho. The villains were actually developed in Ragnarok so there was an investment from the player's behalf, however in FF16 all the villains are the same, story just gives up on half of its points in the second half.
Ragnarok also had a weak ending imo, but overall its a better experience imo

The games that are pushing 9th gen hardware are pushing the boundaries of console gaming and gaming in general. nintendo's hardware struggles with 7th gen titles, has to have special engines for the games to even run, at a compromised state no less.

For real, MGS3 considering the setting and mechanics was definitely intended to be a different game altogether, then had to be retrofitted to fit into the MGS timeline. MGS2 is truly the game Kojima wanted to make out of his own volition thats why it feels good to play. In terms of narrative, its eerily prescient which i find makes it age much better than the snake eater.
