I'm sure the folks losing their jobs aren't going to forget that Sony was hosting a job fair last week for sacked MS employees.
Is too bad, whilst racing games aren't my thing, they seemed to have done something very rare in gaming, launched a dud but polished into a gem.
For a studio that went from unknown to world famous in 3 games there must be a ton of pressure to continue to deliver.
And as someone who desperately wants more Sci-Fi RPG's this is a highly anticipated title. Never understood why fantasy dominates the way it does.
In many ways 9 was the end of an era for the series. FFX was on a new platform, fully voice acted (sometimes badly) and led it down the path of where we are today. That said, imo FFX was the last great FF. 12 felt like a MMO to me, 13 was just bleh, not a ton of interest in 15.
Good, it's idiotic to try and trademark common words. I wonder though how others have done this successfully so many times before and if they can be retroactively nullified? King owns the trademark to the word "Candy" if memory serves and some dude who owns a company called Edge games has a trademark on "Edge" and has sued anyone who tried to use it in a title for their game.
"they’re searching for her partner Arthur Simpson-Kent in connection to the three deaths."
More often that not these things aren't random
How I like to play Bethesda games, play the crap out of it at release, put it down for a year or 2 until all the expansions are done, then play it again with all the new content and a mature modding scene.
There was a time I enjoyed them. We're really talking FFVII-FF-X because Square was awesome at them but these days, there's little to no point and in fact it feels disingenuous, even if it's in-engine.
It's all about the launch titles. Sony have a reputation for great tech and not so great follow-thru.
They need some cheap/free titles that are engaging and easily accessible. They also need to get a few AAA games in the pipe, a survival horror game, 1st person shooter, an open world game.
I would buy the entire TES/Fallout collection if they re-released it VR compatible. Would make Sony VR a must buy at any reasonable price (<$500.)
That's cute, they managed to get "Fallout", "XB1" and "exclusive" in the same sentence.
I'm sure that wasn't intentional......right?
Lots of the comments lately read more like PR statements than gamers simply sharing their opinions. Just seems to be a trend of late.
"Our console of choice just got X, when combined with Y and Z it makes it an amazing time to be a gamer, I'm so hyped!!"
yeah yeah put it back in your pants buster
I don't think they could use Gaikai, different infrastructure. I also doubt they would build their own platform. Lot's of companies out there selling IAAS/PAAS/SAAS solutions. Azure wasn't build for the X-Box, it just uses it. Sony would go to Amazon or IBM or any number of competitors if they wanted to go down this road.
I gave myself a budget of $300, I may in fact wait until I can snag a 290 for that price or thereabouts.
Go to Tom's Hardware where they do a monthly "Best Graphics Card For The Money" each month. It's ALL AMD cards, just 1 Nvidia as a "honorable mention"
I'm prepping to buy myself a 280X in the next month or so.
The local emulation has me at odds. I'd love it, I have a huge collection of PS1+2 RPG's that I still enjoy playing so great news in that regard.
Very curious how this plays into the Playstation Now strategy. I mean if this was very easy to do then yeah sure local emulation rocks but why wouldn't they just be adding these titles to the cloud instead so they have 1 coherent solution.
What I wouldn't want to see is confusion in the strategy. Con...
They should only sell the cameras to women for now. PS4 Playroom needs more women who like to get naked.
It's actually one of the few things that bug me about my PS4. I play in a pitchblack room with a projector and the light is waaaay too bright. Very distracting.
Why can't the world be VR while maintaining a 3rd person perspective?
They just need to release the Rift or Sony's glasses with a killer app. If either launched with say Fallout 4? Take my money, please!
Affordable is a relative term. $500 for a peripheral is allot of money but if you could play ALL games using it (VR or just plain old awesome full screen 2D and thereby essentially replace a TV then $500 is a steal.
Persona 3 was my first time in the series. It was amazing. P4 was a better game in many ways, more polished etc but P3 is still my high point. Would love to see both ported for PS4 using the P5 engine.
