Yes, the costs and expectations increase per generation. But there is a problem. The leap from PSX to PS2 was huge, and the same goes for PS2 to PS3. But here's where it kind of diminishes. PS3 to PS4 wasn't that huge of a leap and if Cerny & his minions doesn't come up with some innovative magic sauce that feels like a gamechanger I think the PS5 will fail.

Well, there's a lot that could be done to make this more impressive. The basics are already there. The whole arena looks pale and edges are very low poly. Adding spotlights (e.g. street lamps) would make it look better. The fireballs and explosions looks very cheap, but overall a decent demonstration. I hope they will improve on it.
