No, it makes them lazy and less creative.
The reason why they struggle to sell is that their are superior third party titles that cuts into there sales. It's only going to be worse in 2012 when the top triple a third party titles compete with the first party for sales. On the other hand it is bad business for Sony to launch so many exclusives per quarter because each titles have to compete with each other in sales.
I think youbwill see a lot more hardcore titles on the nex gen xbox and kinect.
Who cares about exclusives line up the bottom line the 360 oos dominating the market with third party titles that trumps some of the first party titles. One company spends a billion dollars a year for it's own in house game development and there stock and share holders get less in return. The other company spends less money on in house development and get huge returns and royalties from third party titles with massive software sales . There stock and share holders get huge returns on ther...
Confirmed screen shot is in engine not from game play, but looks very nice.
Like I say the 360 doesn't need a long list of exclusives as it is still dominating the competition with strong third party titles. There will be more exclusives announced later in 2012 and for those who thinks exclusives are what push console sales need to go back and research NPD sales numbers for 2011. MS usually don't announce everything for the following unlike there competition and majority of those don't even make it out for that year.
Those new IPS willl be announced for the nex gen xbox at e3 2012 . MS doesn't need to don anything just continue there same formula while providing there customers superior onlinenplay and services. The third party titles is where the business is at and will continue to drive the 360 popularity.
Must have dx 11 or dx 12 support. A midi interface to plug in external musical instrument devices
Another Tales game that won't reach the U.S. What's the point announcing these games when they have no plans for them outside Japan.
Well from a business stand point Kinect wins hands down with the backing of developers. PS Move is a failure due to the fact developers have abandon the hardware with no future support of software.
MS should dump the japanese MArket nex gen and concentratemon the Chinese market instead.
Japanese folks doesn't buy American goods at all unless it's assembled in Japan.
Those are great looking games but add nothing new to game play at all. u3 still plays like the previous versions and is basically a rip off of Tomb Raider. Expect the same game play in The Last Of Us.
I expect the next xbox to rival pc games if the unto will support dx 11 or the upcoming dx 12. Developers will have more memory to work with to creat huge levels and add new gameplay with superior AI.
No doubt about it the 360 will remain the most popular console this generation with it's superior on line services and top notch gaming good job MS.
Looks totally awesome.....don't countnonnthis title being released outside Japan.
Playstation Move should be at the top of that list. Developers have completely abandoned it and migrated over to Kinect.
Nope already confirm 360 paid users gets ot first. This is wonderful news for 360 users.
Totally awesome news for xbox. Live users MS. Just doing all the right things to satisfy and take care of there customers.
I totally agree, people forget about the escalating costs of game developement and if they can get those extra dollars to off set it they will release it on multiple platforms. If Ffxiii-2 sells 2million on the 360 you can bet that all future FF will b on the 360" If FFXV is announced at e3 2012 it will be for next gen console.
MS xbox 360 is worlds best gaming and entertainment console with unmatched online experience.
MS doesn't need a ton of exclusives when third party titles are better than their in house counter part. Skyrim Batman Arkham City Bf3 MW3 are all superior third party titles that are rivals first partybtitles with gaming excitement.
UC3 was the disappointment along with Motorstorm apocalypse.
