As long as Square doesn't make any compromises, i.e. cutting material from the story. As far as cost and resources, it would only seem more plausible to keep this exclusive to the PS3, seeing as it's 360 counterpart would require 5 discs.
I agree. When they're first entering through the door, you can spot the MK II from MGS4 in the top right corner. It even makes that distinctive noise.
Nice find.
"Versus XIII uses parts of the Luminous Studio engine (Square-Enix’s next generation development engine), specifically the lighting technology... Nomura promises a FINAL FANTASY like you’ve never seen before."
That.
No Prince of Persia (2008 version)?
Precisely what Rabid said. I don't think the author has a solid argument that would sway me to believe that only the PS3 could produce beautiful two-dimensional graphics.
It would have made more sense for the author to have used Uncharted: Golden Abyss as evidence for his/her claim.
WHAT
Ah, so that's where Noctis ran off to.
Versus XIII will give it a run for its money.
Not necessarily. The PS3 uses a format that no other system uses -- Blu-Ray. Tetsuya Nomura has said in many interviews that his development team plans on using an interesting technique with the storage capacity of the Blu-Ray disc that no other developer has used before. I'm curious to know what exactly they've been working on for the past six years to make this happen.
I have literally been waiting for this since 2006. I can only anticipate one of two things about Versus XIII: 1.) The game is going to fail miserably, or, 2.) The game will redefine the Final Fantasy franchise. I am hoping for the latter.
I would watch it if it weren't for the fact that it's not loading.
God of War 3 definitely had some challenging boss battles (giant scorpion on Spartan difficulty).
Very bold claim.
So uuhh.. where is Versus XIII?
I know this website is based solely on gaming, but I have to say... 20-30 hours a week? Do you not go to school or have a job?
I don't see Big Boss on this list. That eye-patch combined with his cigar gives him that rough and rustic look that defines badass.
Yes.
Fast-forward to 3:40 to see some Gundam Wing action.
