That event was about the future of playstation brand and what they have already planned, it was not to unveil ps4. Sony mentioned before the event. I don,t know why people think that that was unveiling of ps4. Sony will unveil ps4 at E3 i think.

MAAAAAAAAAAAAAN, These machines are designed by engineers with millions of dollars of research and commenters are commenting like those engineers didn't know anything what ram can do or can't do with other hardware features and what is ram, apu, gpu, gddr5, ddr3, latency, bottleneck etc, these engineers have no clue about these things. Lots of games in the MegaDrive library which can be rebooted, some of them come to mind e.g Story of Thor, Gunstar Heroes, Zombies Ate My Neighbors, Landstalker, Cannon Fodder and Comix Zone.

Hmmmmmmm! that's why they are choked and lost for words.
No time, If they rush changes, I expect hardware failures are at hand otherwise you will see nextbox in 2014.
They will not risk it, so they should launch what they have, if they will wait until 2014, ps4 will eclipse xbox 720, maybe death. I know Microsoft is not that crazy to fall straight into trap.

Why do you think that both companies are afraid of each other, mate they are doing business like lot of other companies in the world and both are giants and they have their own products and strategies. If Mcdonald and KFC or Pepsi and Coca Cola can co-exist, they can also.
