The only remake is House of The Dead: Remake. Other games are remasters, and GNG Resurrection is actually a reboot/ sequel to the franchise. Just for clarification.
Let's just be grateful that even abandonware games are preserved these days. Some will never get a re-release due to the source code being lost, or the company behind it just shutting down. Some may say " but GOG is doing that ". Well, GOG can't have all of those on their website, unfortunately.

grimoire of souls is a mobile game. I think that counts. There's also Castlevania: Moonlight Rhapsody which is coming soon.
That cliffhanger still hurts to this day. But can't blame them, the game did not meet their expectations, so I doubt we will ever get a sequel. Tho, with how graphics have improved over the years, I can't wait to see how the sequel will look like.
