Demon's Souls and Bloodborne are niche titles..
Dark Souls became a commercial hit 'cause it went multi_platform. . even then it doesn't do numbers like the usual suspects. These titles don't really cater to the mainstream. That is what it means to be niche.

'upgrades' don't come cheap. . I don't see them stopping the production of the regular PS4 until the 'neo' is cheap enough to produce so they can cuts its price
