If there's any company you can trust with BC it's Nintendo. The NX will mostly likely be at least compatible with WiiU games. Although they might port of a few WiiU games to boost the NXs launch Line_up.
These fanboys will agree with anything the reps of their fav brands says. . one came out recently saying he's not a big believer in BC ...yet they have a streaming service for old games.. Exclusive remasters are being pumped out. Charging for old games.

MP mode is hardcore.. make too many changes 'nd fans would go ballistic. Besides, I'm sure there's a lot more they're keeping under wraps.
I'm more of a campaign guy when it comes to Gears..
I think that's where all the newness comes in..
It's looking good tho' even for multiplayer.

Quality games output has been slow.. which i agree with. After Bloodborne over year ago, we are still waiting for Uncharted.
No backwards comp' - the author has three PlayStations hooked up to his/her TV. I'm guessing PS 2, 3 and 4. Many would be quick to downplay backwards comp' or agree with a Sony rep that's tr...
Since It's a reboot/remake . . I'm thinking of getting it.
Plus it's as low as £25. Not sure tho' as I couldn't get into
Tools of destruction which was my first stab at the series.

They're not known to play it safe..
They won't build another standard console.. we have two of those already.

artistically, It looks cool..
It seems it's one of those that's an acquired taste.
I don't see it holding my attention once the novelty wears off..knowing I could be playing better games with depth, rewarding and fulfilling game_play.
for a low budget title, I wouldn't take the risk at that price of admission.

May has to be the best month of the year thus far..
It has at least 3 games I actually want to play.
Uncharted 4, Mirrors Edge and DooM.
Varied styles of games.
That's me sorted for a long while...

they've added bigger environments so you can drive, stealth, rope swing and more. . I'm all about game_play. The story will be a bonus

Just like any other sequel.. It'll look and play familiar with a few upgrades and improvements here and there..
It's still called Gears of War.. Not a NEW_IP. And we haven't even seen much in terms of Single_Player Campaign.. Which is where majority of the 'new' stuff is hidden.

There's no such thing as pleasing everyone. .
I simply see it as a requirement to play online, I don't expect anything else from it in terms of 'free' games. If they ever put a game on I actually want to play I'd be shocked.
