If you're serious about VR you'll get a powerful PC. . . .to handle Oculus or Vive. Open support in the PC environment..
Versus VR on an underpowered console..Better than nothing I suppose. .

Not all companies can afford to do what Microsoft is doing.
Microsoft is a software based company. They power PCs around the world with Windows. Businesses, academic Institutions etc.
The full Steam games library requires Windows.
Sony/Nintendo don't have an operating system like Windows, if they did they'd probably do the same thing MS is doing right now.
I don't see anything wrong with putting their games on ano...
